**Photo Pro and Lightroom:** A savvy photographer may say that he uses “Photo Pro” and “Lightroom.” Photo Pro is basically Photoshop, except it is a photo editing program, and Lightroom is an image management and editing program. Photography software designers expect you to use both.
I’m not making any definite statements here because the only way you can know for sure what you’re doing is to try out the different programs. When you’re happy with your work, you can then decide for yourself which you like best.
**GIMP:** GIMP is open-source software, meaning that it is free and there are no restrictions on use or copy. Because it’s open source, you can download GIMP, look through the source code, modify it, and then build a program that looks just like Photoshop — so easy.
If you download GIMP, you can look at all the programs that people have created that look like Photoshop. If the look of the program is important to you, you can even modify the source code and create your own. The downside is that you must have a very good understanding of C (the programming language that GIMP is written in). If you’re serious about the process, you can use a book that will walk you through the process of creating a program that looks just like Photoshop.
Also look for books and web sites that provide information about the inner workings of GIMP, about software that enables it to edit images (even though some of this software may not look like Photoshop), and maybe even free tutorials on the internet.
Because Photoshop Elements is free, this guide will explain the main features and options of this powerful photo editing software and how to use it.
Versions 17 and earlier of Photoshop Elements were based on Adobe’s older version of the Photoshop program, which is no longer available. The difference between Photoshop Elements and Photoshop is that Photoshop is for professional artists and Photoshop Elements is for hobbyists and anyone wanting to use Photoshop’s basic tools but without having to pay for Photoshop.
Adobe Photoshop Elements is also no longer compatible with the Mac operating system as of version 16. So if you use a Mac, you will have to upgrade to a newer version of Photoshop Elements.
Adobe Photoshop Elements 17 is available for Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10 and for Mac OS X versions 10.8 and 10.9, but you can also still get it on older versions of both the Mac and Windows operating systems.

1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates generally to systems and methods for acquiring subsurface formation data from a downhole formation using geophones, and more specifically to systems and methods for utilizing differential waveforms to improve the acquisition and resolution of subsurface formation data.
2. Background of the Invention
In oil and gas exploration and production, it is important to obtain the data representative of the geological structure of an underground formation, for example, around a wellbore, in order to ensure the production of oil and gas in commercial quantities. Therefore, it is important to acquire formation data when drilling, completing or producing an oil or gas well.
In order to acquire such formation data, a variety of downhole tools and techniques are used. Such techniques include the use of a multichannel-wireline tool and systems that utilize one or more borehole seismometers, such as a borehole geophone and a continuous-wave geophone.
One prior art method of acquiring formation data from a wellbore includes using a formation testing tool having multiple sensors and a transmitter on the tool or in the wellbore to generate a signal that radiates into the formation. The sensors record a wavefield that is generated as the wavefield reflects from the borehole-tool interface, the formation-tool interface, the formations in the borehole, and from other parts of the signal wavefront. In the case of a continuous wave (CW) tool, sensors are used to detect the main and alternating polarity components of the detected wavefield and to produce a signal that is representative of a waveform of the detected wavefield.
A tool having multiple sensors can only acquire data from the portion of a well that is within the wave-receiving distance of at least one of the sensors. To acquire formation data from a large fraction of the wellbore, multiple such tools must be used at different depths in the well.
Since the tool is typically operated in a downhole environment for extended periods of time, the data acquired at each depth may require substantial amounts of memory. The formation data may need to be stored to be retrieved at a later time. Continuous wave tools have the additional disadvantage of being unable to acquire data when the tool is not transmitting.
Moreover, since the sensors must be spaced apart from one another to acquire formation data from a large volume, such sensors usually produce a spatial compounding of the obtained formation data.

There are over 1 billion type 1 diabetes (T1D) patients worldwide. In addition, type 2 diabetes is also affecting the population much more rapidly, with the number in the US doubling over the last three decades. The incidence of T2D in the US is rapidly increasing in children. T1D and T2D are chronic diseases that require life-long treatment with multiple daily injections. In particular, patients with T1D require daily injections of a mixture of insulin and zinc protoporphyrin (ZnPP). Although monthly re-immunizations are possible, numerous injections of the same immunogen act to induce an immune response over time that may or may not need to be reinforced with re-immunizations. Thus, there is a need in the field for a composition that can be used, for example, to reduce the number of re-immunizations required, thereby maintaining a high level of the patient’s immune response to the immunogen.
Over the last two decades, evidence has accumulated that several gut-derived components, such as short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs), bile acids (BAs), lipopolysaccharide (LPS), and peptides influence the initiation of immune and metabolic responses. SCFAs, such as acetate, propionate and butyrate, are produced when carbohydrates are fermented by the gut microbiota. These SCFAs stimulate colonic epithelial cells to secrete a number of important regulatory factors, including IL-10, which are vital for maintaining gut homeostasis. In addition, SCFAs, but not sulfate, inhibit NF-κB activity. Acetate, propionate and butyrate inhibit the proliferation and differentiation of inflammatory effector cells, such as T lymphocytes, macrophages and natural killer (NK) cells. Furthermore, SCFAs stimulate Th2 differentiation and the production of IL-4 and IL-5. In addition, SCFAs may inhibit the production of IFNγ and IL-17, while increasing the secretion of IL-10 and transforming growth factor beta (TGF-β) from intestinal T cells.
LPS is a component of the outer membrane of Gram negative bacteria. The intestinal barrier is composed of an epithelial monolayer that separates the intestinal mucosa from the lumen.
