I’m confused about how to approach this problem. I understand that it could be easily solved by contradiction, but I need some help with choosing $x_{n}$. Thanks in advance!

As you noted, the continuity of $A$ gives us that we can assume that $x=0$. But then $x_{n}=0$ for all $n$. So the claim is true.

Why are my UI views partially showing when I set the contentView of my UIViewController in viewDidLoad?
I am currently creating a game and I need to show the score after the user presses a button in my game, so I set up a UI view containing a label that I can use to display the score.
In my view controller, I created a UIView, and added a subview to it (a UI View). Then, I used this code to add the subview to the view controller’s content view:
