The storyline of Siena is very interesting and by the time I finished the main story line, it started to get more emotional and I felt like this was the best choice. The story telling is somewhat inconsistent which often made it feel like a novel and sometimes like a children’s book. Siena, on the other hand, is extremely honest about its lack of quality. The way the story is told in Siena’s prologue has a sense of dread, while the rest of the game is surprisingly light. The game is truly unapologetic about its shortcomings, and for that it is most welcome. I know that most folks would not enjoy this game for its plot, but the lack of quality is what makes it so special.

    The battles are said to be fast-paced and easy to get into, but I found them a tad difficult. Siena moves faster than any other MMO currently available. The combat system is loose, but allows the player to become comfortable with the different actions and direction for such actions to further be changed. It helps that the game makes a distinction between melee and ranged attacks, allowing me to be decisive about my decisions in each battle.

You can also raid by joining other players and even take part in single-player versus dungeons. There are 21 battle paths to take. You must progress through many paths to gain access to higher level areas. It is suggested that you only engage in one battle at a time so you won’t be confused by your maps and item inventories.

    Elden Lords battle by combining the attributes of their individual classes. When you are engaged in combat, your class will instantly change to its Rune Weapon class (regardless of whether or not you have equipped a Rune Weapon). Through the battle, your class will gain levels and your Rune Weapon will receive attributes.

    Relying on the battle results, your attributes change to a higher attribute. In the event that your attack hits your foe, you can increase your attributes (minus your attribute drop rate). For example, increasing your top attribute will increase your attack, and, if the attack is successful, increase your attribute by a large amount.

    The five attributes are the “Strength”, “Vitality”, “Charisma”, “Willpower”, and “Intelligence”.
