Control for populating text box from a asp:TextBoxFor
I am working on a MVC 5 website and currently have an issue in my project, where I need to populate a text box.
Instead of populating the text box using the html helper method, I would like to get the content from a source code file.
But, for some reason, using the text box methods dont produce the correct HTML, just the empty text box. I have also tried using the findcontrol method, but it produced the same results, except that it didnt work.
Here is an example of the HTML I have in my code.
