About The Team
“The developer, a 1 year old game studio based in Oviedo (northern Spain), was created in 2015 by a small team of experienced industry professionals: programmers, artists, musicians, all of which were influenced by the likes of Retro64, m14 and other indie developers.”

The Kickstarter is over now. We only had a few days left to make sure we reach our funding goal, and thanks to all of you who helped us reach that goal in time! We also got promoted by the gaming blog Polygon and many other sites.
Now we have a few more days to raise funds from our supporters via the PayPal link (which is working again!) and from retail stores like Amazon and Gamersgate. I personally will list all of you in the game as “About PAX” in the game, so you don’t miss out on any rewards.

Introduction
PAKO 2 is my first game (at least, I hope so!) and it’s been on my mind since I started the project more than 2 years ago. I have to say that after 2 years of planning and coding, I finally managed to put my ideas on paper and got them to run smoothly with an executable.
It’s a retro 8-bit action-adventure game set in a world inspired by the madcap Micro Machines presentation of GTA 1.
What’s the Story?
No story needed, but I’d like to include a brief intro to get you the idea about the setting.
The Story
PAKO 2 takes place in an 8-bit world, with the player playing as a mythical creature called “PAKO 2”.

You’re a person who ventures to different worlds in order to see what awaits them. There are various worlds, each with their own systems. They’re connected by a common bridge system, and you’re able to send people to explore the worlds of other users.
You receive different missions from other users, who themselves have received missions from other users. While you’re exploring you also search for a place to return. You also search for treasure chests, where you can use the money earned to fuel your house boat.
If you find an even more valuable treasure chest, you can sell it to other users. With these treasures you can buy new buildings, which you can use to expand your house. Your character can also be more powerful when improved.
Characters build automatically and stats are leveled up if you achieve a certain score. Even the most untalented characters can achieve high levels by working hard.
There are two modes of this game: Adventure and Survival. You can select one of these modes.Adventure Mode: Exploring the World Adventure Mode of this game is similar to the normal adventure game genre. You start with a low level and slowly build to a high level. You explore the world, meet other users and complete different quests. As you progress more treasure chests will appear which you can sell to other players.
There is a time limit for this mode. There is a limit of 10,000,000 turns. After this time the game will be closed. You can also choose another world to explore, similar to Save The Princess mode. You will get 10,000,000 turns. Furthermore you can also select a day time limit and continue to play for this length of time.
Survival Mode: Survival Mode is also similar to the normal adventure game genre, but without a time limit. You start with a high level, you have to explore the world, collect treasures, meet other users, and complete different quests. You gain income by selling treasure chests, and there are also other places where you can gain new items. You can also earn money by trading or selling items.
You can choose to buy items or build your house. The type of items you’re able to buy depends on the buildings you’ve constructed. By improving your buildings and items you will earn more money and become more powerful. You can also use your money to buy items from other players or leave it untouched. Items are also useful for many purposes, such as opening treasure chests, gathering
