to be clear, we do not seek to destroy the accu-sim technology. we seek to improve and customize the accu-sim for our own purposes, and future accu-sim users. accu-sim is not perfect. over time, accu-sim will be tweaked and improved. this is what we seek to do with the fsx 777. we will not stop until it’s as close to real as we can get it. accu-sim is the road to realism. once you get used to accu-sim, you will never want to fly with anything less. accu-sim will allow you to do what you want to do without the hassle of troubleshooting, or managing an internet connection. some people have not even tried using accu-sim because the fsx 777 is almost 100% accu-sim.

it’s easy to make suggestions, and easy to make them into an airplane. it is so much more fun to create. accu-sim will allow our customers to create their own designs, and our mission is to make it as fun, and simple to create as possible. we’ve just begun our journey with the pmdg 777. the greatest challenge so far has been getting the tail windows to work on the retractable configuration. with the retractable configuration, you’ll notice that the left tail window floats upwards, and lifts the left window panel of the cockpit. at 90 degrees left, it comes out of its casing and deploys.

once the left tail windows are working, we can focus on the pmdg 777-200lr f 300er expansion pack. it is primarily a white airplane. it is similar in size to the accu-sim, but it has a lighter interior. accu-sim can be compared to the aircraft in a carrier’s inner bay. the 777-200lr f 300er expansion pack can be compared to the airliner in a carrier’s upper bay. it is a smaller aircraft, and it has a better ride.

today, many people are not even aware that flight simulator x had an accu-sim expansion pack. in fact, the vast majority of flight sim aficionados have no idea that this livery exists. it would be safe to say, we can safely blame microsoft for this. microsoft was unable to give accu-sim a decent deal. they thought they could turn off the royalty servers and all the simmers would just get another airplane to fly on. the truth is, there are thousands of people who have flight sim add-ons running with no microsoft royalties attached to them. they just happen to be using microsoft flight simulator x. these people have been flying fsx for years, years longer than flight simulator x. they have been using their fsx’s accu-sims just fine for years. accu-sim did not ask microsoft to pay them for the licenses. they are using the code they freely gave them. the fsx developers gave them accu-sim, they have been using it, microsoft has done nothing. these people have no need to spend their life savings to live in a rural area in maine, that has no internet to wire up their servers.
