did anyone notice the slowness of working in the 5.2 version? I’m a designer and suddenly, the work I was doing in 5.1.4 is slower. Same project and for more than a day waiting for the preview to open up the dialog option. After I filed a similar reports in Adobe, I had the answer of the support which said it was a bug and that the number of copies should be set to 1. The answer was that the previews should be off in all previews and this is not the case in 5.2.0
Services tells me that there was a patch to fix this very issue, but it was released after DAWA. I do not have access / privileges to change where I execute Adobe apps, so I am stuck with waiting for this bug to be solved.
This is a big issue for professional users and photographers because the previews are crucial to work with and it is killing my work. Until this is fixed, I’m afraid it is time to say bye-bye to LR 5.2.0 and go back to 5.2.0.5.
