if a license is deactivated for any reason, the license is no longer available for the device. however, the license can still be used for other devices. to deactivate a license, one needs to perform a license repair. for this, the license is assigned to a license slot. the license slot is a specific license key assigned to a specific type of license, like free or premium+. each license can be assigned to several license slots. the license slot is assigned when the license is purchased. the license slot can be assigned either to a device identifier (imei or android id), or to a user name, and when assigning to a user name, the first run of the device is required.
once the license is activated, the user can start the sygic application, which will search for nearby destinations and navigation information. the navigation information is displayed in a map view that is interactively dragable and zoomable. the location information is displayed in a list view. the list includes several categories, including in-car-navigation information, user info, and destination details.
