The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is a role-playing video game developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. The game sold 1 million copies in its first two days on sale, becoming the fastest selling PC game since the original Fallout, and the fastest selling console game since Super Mario Galaxy.
Skyrim is one of the most acclaimed video games of all time, with IGN awarding it the “Editor’s Choice Award”, “Game of the Year”, and “Best Role-Playing Game of 2011”. It was also nominated for many other awards, including “Game of the Year” by GameSpot, E3 Video Game of the Year, and BAFTA Video Game of the Year.
