Passing parameters to my C# project to be executed from a batch file

I have a C# project which takes several parameters to be executed (parameter1,parameter2…) and uses them to process some data in DB.
I want to run the project using a batch file so as to avoid multiple tasks of running the exe (the application will be deployed as a console exe).
But, after reading a lot and trying a lot of different approaches, I can’t pass any parameter using “%1,%2…”, they get masked by the name of the batch file and used as it was the name of the project.
I also tried passing “cmd.Parameters.AddWithValue” and still it doesn’t work.
What’s the right way to do this?

Actually I found a solution. After some trial and error, I just defined my parameters as “-file” and it worked.
So, instead of:
-file “d:\myfolder\myfile.xml
