For another, the continuation of this exhibition, based on the false premise that the “occupation” of the Palestinians does not exist, is implicitly harmful to the Middle East peace process and a waste of taxpayer money.

Unfortunately, the full extent of the damage is difficult to know since the Tate has not issued a written comment on the affair.

After all, it is not the first time that the Tate has distorted the truth in the name of progressive ideals. In 2002, the Tate decided to cancel a large number of works with Islamic content and kept only four works, claiming they were anti-Muslim, but it later transpired that the Tate had in fact offered its support for the work of an Islamic art collector.
