When a frame is time synced, it appears on a display as well as the next display that receives it. When a frame is not time synced, it appears only on the display that receives it.

In recent years the number of displays that have become standard on the desktop has been increasing.
In the past, adding additional displays to the desktop was simply a matter of purchasing a new monitor or a new graphics card.
However, these days, most desktop users have multiple monitors available, and new multimedia features are now often displayed simultaneously on all available monitors.
The multi-monitor environment is becoming more and more popular, and developers that support this environment need to be able to display a single application simultaneously on multiple screens.
Existing software solutions
Creating a single application to display on multiple screens involves writing software that is able to render on one monitor, the center-monitor, and, potentially, other monitors as well.
There are two general approaches to implement multi-monitor support.
The first approach is to let the user choose which monitor should display what part of the application.
The second approach is to let the system automatically decide which monitor should display what part of the application and to reserve the center-monitor for other purposes.
The second approach is the more difficult to implement, and has two main problems.
The first problem is that the application must be able to determine which areas should be displayed on which monitor.
In other words, the application has to know where the boundary between the different monitors is.
The second problem is the display of a video window on multiple monitors.
An important problem is managing the position of the video window on the different monitors.
The first display where the video window is located is called the x-window of the first display.
The second display the video window is located on is called the x-window of the second display.
For instance, the x-window of the first display is set to a value of (0, 0), whereas the x-window of the second display is set to a value of (0, 0).
The problem is that, given a particular x-window, there is no way of determining which monitor it belongs to.
The x-window of the first display could actually belong to either the first or the second display.
The same is true for the x-window of the second display.
The x-window of the first display can belong to the first or the second display.
Furthermore, the x-window of the second display could belong to the first, the second, or even the third display.
