Instead of permanently losing all the data
Photoshop Elements is powerful enough to edit any type of image, be it a complex still image or a simple black-and-white photo. It provides more or less sophisticated editing tools than the free version of Photoshop, but much of them are the same. A plug-in for Creative Suite is available.
Photo editing
Photoshop Elements 2019 is ideal for simple tasks such as image retouching and cropping. It can resample images and adjust their size or proportion, crop them, and apply one of the 17 filters, such as desaturate, darken and tint.

With the Image editor, you can work on pictures in detail. For example, you can remove a small area of a picture, cut it out, adjust its size and even paste it into a new position in the image. If you plan to retouch the image, for example, you can fill the missing color with gray.
The 2-panel user interface is simple and easy to learn. When you make changes to images, you can see the result immediately and export images if necessary.

Workflow
Work with layers. Layers allow you to combine objects and processes in Photoshop Elements. Photo editing in Photoshop Elements is very intuitive and does not require a lot of technical knowledge.

A colorful day! I was out earlier than normal as I’d been gone for the weekend to a fundraiser, but found some abundant fall color. I arrived at Grays Harbor Audubon by 6:30 to find the main parking lot already full, but saw a couple of vehicles pulling into other lots and so I remained in the main lot.
The parking lot at Grays Harbor Audubon is overflowing now and I’ve taken out my inner-city, suburban, compact, SUV self and driven my two-ton, 6×6, 8 mpg boat. I find it hard to park close to the door when the flow of traffic continues to increase every time I visit a new site.
The first bird I saw was a Western kingbird. This bird-watching duo just won’t leave this parking lot alone. I expect we’ll be here for hours as they take turns sitting on those trees, flying to the next one and sitting there too.
Intermittent sun (7:00 to 10:30) I chatted with two other birders who were thoroughly enjoying themselves, and some of their first Hawaii birds. One of them was an avid birder who had been to Kauai and had even caught one bird of Hawaiian songbirds on the island. “Hawaii doesn’t have any Hawaiian birds” he said. It’s easy to see why that is.
Another birding friend, who specializes in woodpeckers, had a log of crested woodpeckers in his car. It is my experience that some people think woodpeckers are pretty common and easy to spot, but they are often far from it, and can be pretty elusive. Several times he got a bit of a surprise when a bird sounded like a woodpecker, but wasn’t.
I spotted a spotted sandpiper, two California gulls, a field sparrow, three house sparrows, a house wren, a house finch, several American goldfinches, a western yellow-rumped warbler, a common yellowthroat, a Canadian red crossbill, a blue-winged teal and a red-headed woodpecker.

Conceptualising the concept of occupational therapy for older adults in the context of holistic caring: a case study.
As populations grow older and age-related diseases become more prevalent, older adults will increasingly seek occupationally-focused services that assist in maintaining functional capacity. Occupational therapy is one of the best-practice services available to older adults, yet occupational therapy with older adults remains relatively unstudied. This case study of a family caregiver of a homebound older adult, identifies the determinants of the client’s mobility. The use of a model called the Occupational Model of Practice in Applied Gerontology (OMEGA) was instrumental in identifying the variables influencing mobility at different stages of the caregiver’s life. Within the context of the client’s occupational functioning, the caregiver’s occupational needs were most evident in stages of life associated with physical mobility. In particular, the caregiver’s occupational needs were most apparent in the activities of indoor mobility and in the occupations associated with daily living activities.Recent observations suggest a role for platelets in the formation of coronary thrombi. Thrombi seen in patients who have undergone percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA) contain aggregated platelets. Their platelet-rich component has reduced aggregation and aggregating characteristics. In addition, the release reaction to such aggregated platelets is impaired. We have shown that percutaneous transluminal arterial thrombosis is associated with platelet aggregation and that the presence of aggregated platelets in the thrombus correlates with occlusion of the vessel. The mechanisms for production of these platelet aggregates and the functional significance of platelet aggregates in thrombosis are unknown. We will investigate the mechanism for production of these aggregates, the factors which influence them, and their possible role in arterial thrombosis. We will study patients with coronary artery thrombosis associated with atherosclerotic and nonatherosclerotic disease, as well as patients who have undergone PTCA, whose vessels have undergone thrombotic occlusion. To characterize the aggregation of platelets in thrombi, we will use a technique which visualizes platelets bound to each other. These studies will test the hypothesis that platelets in thrombi are more aggregated than their circulating counterparts. Platelet aggregation studies will be correlated with other physical and chemical analyses and with the time course and extent of platelet deposition in the thrombus. These studies
