Photoshop Elements works in two ways. It is both a graphic editor and a raw photo editor.
Graphic editors enable you to edit a photo to make it look more professional in terms of its sharpness, colour, and clarity.
Raw photo editors allow you to work directly with the photo in its raw format. These include several tools in a simpler user interface designed for a photographer.
You can use both tools to edit your photo. The first way is to edit a photo in a graphic editor, and then create a copy of the photo from the same source, and then edit it as a raw photo. The second way is to edit a raw photo in Photoshop Elements, and create a copy of the photo from the raw source, and then edit it as a graphic editor.
What is Photoshop Elements
Adobe Photoshop Elements is a graphic editor with a simple user interface. It is mainly designed for graphic designers and hobbyists, but it is also used by photographers.
Photoshop Elements 10 is a part of the Adobe Creative Cloud software suite, and comes as a free download from the Adobe website or in the Photostrokes app on your iPhone and Android smartphones.

Thought I would post some pictures, mostly because I can’t be arsed to think of something to write about anymore. These were taken last week, I’m sad to say.
The first picture I took was of Florence at the beach. I was trying to take pictures of the dog, but kept hitting the wrong button. The one next to it I kept hitting, but that’s my daughter in Florence’s arms. Look at the smile on her face.

Apologies for the sub-standard blogging lately, I’m really just not interested in writing these days.
I’ve still been busy, as always. I’ve been at the beach with my daughter for the last two weeks, obviously having fun!
Florence arrived on the 6th of May (I’m sure the postman has by now forgotten to deliver this week) and went home with my mother on the 14th. I’m so proud of her for all that she’s been doing – she’s been helping out a lot at my grandparents’ place, but you’re pretty much tied to that place all day, which is fine if you’re there to pick her up every night and make sure she’s happy. It’s taken up a lot of my waking hours, but she still seems happy.
We both love getting to spend time together, and she’s very helpful and happy, which is great because I feel so guilty about not allowing her to be happy. I’ve also been spending a lot of time around Mum, which is nice too.
On Saturday, Uncle Nick (one of my sister’s husbands) had his 70th birthday, which is one of the most important days in my life, because it was the day I met him. That day I discovered that he’s actually really cool, and I’m really happy that I had a chance to know him.
Not much else happened, other than on Thursday I did a bit of work on a presentation, and last night I did the most horrible thing in the world – I made a presentation to my boss. What the hell have I become?
There’s not much new that can be said. All I know is, in another two days I’ll be leaving on a much needed vacation!
