One of the beauties of Photoshop (and many other image-editing programs) is that any advanced features are easy to master if you have a bit of experience with computers and picture-editing software.
Working with the Basic Commands of Photoshop
When working in Photoshop, you’ll find that it takes a little time to get comfortable with the interface and all the tools. However, as you become more familiar with Photoshop, you’ll see some of the features that you’ll use again and again.
The following list gives you an overview of the basic tools. (You can find more information about working with these tools in the upcoming sections.)
The default shape of the canvas tool is the Rectangular Marquee tool. You can change the shape of the tool by choosing Edit ▸ Preferences ▸ Canvas Size.
The Hand tool allows you to move the entire canvas, using the mouse, and to drag an individual object, using the mouse buttons, individually. You can also click the Hand tool and then drag an object to resize or move that object.
The Move tool can be used to move objects on the canvas. You can also drag images directly from the Finder window or the web browser to the Photoshop canvas.
Click any object in a file and, with a few options, you can resize the image. You can click and drag any point on an object to resize it. You can also hold down the Shift key to resize it to a specific size, based on the current resolution of the monitor.
The Eraser tool enables you to remove or deactivate an object. This enables you to erase image data that isn’t in use. You can also click the Eraser tool and then click an object to remove or remove the entire image area surrounding the object. The tool can also be used to clean up an image that was cropped with the Crop tool.
The Gradient tool, one of Photoshop’s most powerful tools, enables you to create tones of colors within an image. You can create gradients from black to white or even from white to shades of gray.
Figure 7-1 shows an example of a simple gradient that you can create using this tool. Figure 7-1 shows a gradient gradient from dark red to orange-red.

Photoshop 2020 is expected to be a release of five new features in the software. We’ve listed the best features of Photoshop 2020 below.
The upcoming version will be based on the InDesign framework. This makes it easier to deliver content and media to Adobe XD.
The latest release of Adobe Photoshop will rely on GPU rendering rather than CPU rendering. This is a big step forward in terms of the performance of the program.
It is also expected that Photoshop 2020 will introduce new color grading options.
The Split Tone mask was removed from Photoshop. This was a useful tool for masking parts of the photo while leaving other parts untouched. If you have an image you would like to manipulate, this tool will be a bit easier to use.
The Retinize Filter was removed. The tool was too complicated for most photographers and the retinize option is available on Photoshop CC 2019.

Adobe announced that Photoshop 2020 will be released on the 1st of September 2020. However, this doesn’t mean that the release date of Photoshop 2020 will fall on that day. The release of Photoshop 2020 is expected around the first week of September 2020.

VS 2015 compiling Xamarin.IOS
The recent update to VS 2015 causes my Xamarin.IOS app to compile with a warning
/bin/macosx64/bin/mtouch- -device-family=iphone6,6s,5 (MTouch
As of yesterday, Xamarin now requires that you compile for iOS 8.4 or later. I would like to still be able to build and ship for the older iOS versions. How do I fix this warning?
A:
Looks like there’s a bug with Xamarin.iOS 1.6.0.44. This is what I did:
Open the app.sln file.
Build the solution.
In the bin folder, you should see several Xamarin.iOS.dll files.
Open the Xamarin.iOS dll in PE Explorer.
If your iOS versions are low, you will see a bunch of warning messages.
In the warning messages, you can notice, “Specified SDK iPhone 5S but Deployed Device is iPhone 6/6S”. You can make a fix to that by updating the SDK versions in iOS project properties.
I also see that the version of Xamarin.iOS is 1.6.0.44 for all iOS Versions. You may want to go through the latest updates of your Xamarin project or manually update your projects Xamarin.iOS dlls to 1.6.0.44.
UPDATE:
As of Xamarin.iOS version 1.6.1.2, iOS 10 SDK or latest is supported. Also, Xamarin.iOS 1.6.1.2 supports iOS 8.4 or later.
