akons detractors will probably still say that he isnt that great of a singer, not true. akon has one of the best voices in the business and he is one of the best producers in the business. the only bad thing i can say about akon is that he doesnt know how to make a song that doesnt sound like every other song out there. it is his worst weakness and he should have let people like t-pain and lil wayne help him out with the production. i dont know what hes afraid of, why is he scared to make music that is different, and why are we a nation of imitators?
what i would like to see is akon do the same thing as t-pain and make a successful, classic reggae album. one that would have it all, the awesome beats, sing your own lyrics, and be able to appeal to the whole world. it is sad to see akon in decline. it is sad to see the time that r&b had taken over the music industry, where it seemed like every r&b artist could sing and produce like akon. but the thing is, they couldn’t.
i also think that akon should produce t-pain’s new album. both akon and t-pain have made some of the best r&b/hip-hop records this year. im looking forward to the new album as i know they can combine their amazing talents together.

the lyrics of freedom state that he is so used to the rich white women around him hes lost in his own world. he can go and only be with the wealthy women he knows, but he cant move out of the world he has been in. he is even more lonely and depressed when surrounded by these women. he is an honest person who is not asking for much and hes not trying to get any of the women he dates or meets, and hes just happy to be with them.
