we also like the fact that the instruments require no action, they just plug in to your computer and work with any daw. we loved the precision, musicality and realism of the spitfire libraries, so when we heard about the companys line of premium orchestral instruments, we just had to know more. and what we learned was a sum total of many samples, recorded and meticulously processed by thespitfire audio crew, which was augmented by a host of great session musicians, including a royworld for the drums. this dynamic, thorough re-working of a classic sound is everything you want in an orchestral library.

the system is supplied with 32gb sd cards on a custom made box, which can then be plugged into the included usb flash drive adapter to save the data. using a standard windows pc, we loaded it into protools hd with 32gb of aptina optix mpl max iii xlr and sony pro comp v systems, and started to take a look around. (in the full kit, we also have a built-in sd card slot to load samples quickly, if you prefer.)

all in all, its a very versatile system that will make most any guitarist happy. our favorite feature is the classic telecaster that is shipped with the kit. it sure is a nice surprise to find this kind of an instrument in an orchestral library. the other thing that we loved about this library is that is was easy to make a completely new sound with the simple controls provided.
