Archicad 15 Object Library Free Download

I am using Windows 7, I am just starting out with Archicad. I am trying to find the CAD software that has the easiest learning curve for me. I’m pretty lost at the library. I have the AC12 library, which seems to handle everything I need for now, and would like to get the MSA Wood and Lumber library as well. I looked it up and saw that there was no archive with it, so I figured it was gone.

I’m currently in the process of getting ArchiCAD 16.2 updated and starting to open all of my old drawings. I have a lot of old drawings that I saved many years ago and don’t even have any alpha or beta versions of AC. I downloaded the 15.0/AC12/2013.1 and AC16.1/AC16/2014.1 updates and opened the AC 16 and AC 12 libraries, however I noticed that these libraries include the world scaleworks. I tried opening my old drawing from my workspace but these scaleworks don’t show up and I also do not want to have a whole new library of old drawings. I want to keep all my old drawings in one library. Is there a way I can make all the drawings from my older libraries show up in the new archicad 16 library

I am using Windows 7 and I want to know how to get the Layout Tool Bar to behave as it was before I updated to 16.2. I went to 16.1 and received a message saying “There is a newer version of ArchiCAD on the Web”. How do I get to the older version?

I am new to Architectural Design and I like ArchiCAD 15, I use it in my Design School and it gives me what I need for a free, lightweight software, but I would like to open my older projects and I don’t have the layouts for them. Is there a way I can attach the layout to my project so I can redraw the whole thing?

If you are familiar with other CAD products, some of the ArchiCAD features may be a bit overwhelming at first. The dialog boxes and menus are divided in general into the following categories: Project View Tools Preferences Layout
The General Preferences dialog provides the basic settings for the ArchiCAD application, such as switching between the Pre-version and Post-version of the ArchiCAD application, and exporting your project files to other formats.
The good news is that as more features are added to the USA library, its flexibility will increase exponentially. In general, a more open and flexible software will add new features, and a software that has more features makes it easier to do different design tasks.
I dont know if you are still looking for this info. But we have a very similar system to the ArchiCAD 18 US Library for the US version of ArchiCAD 17 and ArchiCAD 18 (INT, 17). What I did was open the US Library, unzipped the gdl’s into the US Library folder, and then went into the folders and changed all the window titles to be US Library Window titles (and renamed to US Library). After that I went back and made all the windows US Library..
You can install the gdl file within a USA ArchiCAD Library folder. Then when you open the ArchiCAD Library Manager and Libraries and Objects dialog, browse for the gdl file, and unzip it. One of the libraries will be created automatically.
Its very possible that you have a US ArchiCAD 17 System. You should check all the USA libraries you have and make sure the one you want is loaded on there. For instance, with the US archicad 15.0.3 64bit, mine has the following files :[C:\Program Files\ARCHICAD\America\Archicad 17\Basic_Windows Library\default\USA Library\], [C:\Program Files\ARCHICAD\America\Archicad 17\Gdl Library\default\USA Library\] and [C:\Program Files\ARCHICAD\America\Archicad 17\User Data Library\default\USA Library\]. You should see if there are different ones or if your Library is selected. Just an FYI, I had issues with my library not being there, but after checking the “other” folder, it was.
