Arduino With HC-05 (ZS-040) Bluetooth Module € AT MODE

i have a hc-05 with a button. i can connect to the hc-05 in at mode. i am trying to connect in at mode with a hc-05 without a button. when i use the hc-05 to connect to my arduino without a button, it has a bug where the led blinks once a second with an unknown pattern. i am using the v3.0 firmware version. i am using a hc-05 v3.0, and the arduino uno. i have been trying to find out how to get the hc-05 to talk to the arduino in at mode.

i have a problem trying to make my hc05 bluetooth module work as a at (as i understand it) but it’s not working. i used the example code posted by martyn, so the problem is that i’m not able to send at commands to it. i tried to fix it by adding a pinmode(2, input_pullup); before the btserial.println(at) command but it’s still not working.
i tried to send at+pswd and it gave me the response: ok 0 -0 i know the module is working because i have a breadboard with a hc-05 plugged in it and it works fine. i also have another board with an hc-06 and the same problem: it does not connect to the other arduino board. as i understand it’s a bluetooth issue because i was able to connect to a hc-05 with hc-06. but the problem is that the hc-06 is in at mode as default, but i need to make it in bt mode. do you know how to do this?

i have the same problem as you. i’m using the same program and module as you, and i’m sending at commands just fine. but they are not answered by the module. i have an hc-06 module, and i don’t have a button or anything like that. how do i enter the at mode?
