How do I get the current thread ID in Python?
I am trying to implement a simple multithreaded test in Python to understand the theory a little better. I want to run several test threads in parallel. The idea is that the main thread can switch between threads based on some user input and each thread then needs to perform a task which may take some time. I have not implemented the code yet as I am having trouble getting hold of the current thread’s ID. How can I do this?
