How It Works

AutoCAD is a 3D design program that is very similar to SketchUp, Google SketchUp or 3D Studio. These programs have similar functionality, but only the application that you use will allow you to work in the file format you prefer, making your work easier.

A very important aspect of AutoCAD is the fact that the program can work with 2D and 3D designs. You can work on both 2D and 3D files in the same program.

I’m working on a program to control the power system of my house, and part of it requires that I determine if the UPS is online. The best way to find this out is to determine if a child process is running. Since my load cycle is from midnight to 6 AM, I want to run the test at 2:00 AM every day. Currently, I’m using the following code:

I would like to know if there is a way I can determine whether or not a child process is already running. I have tried to use os.wait, but have not found a way to detect the child processes. I would prefer to avoid using signals, as I don’t want to tell the child to go away.
