The interface in AutoCAD can be confusing. In fact, because it’s not designed for users with visual impairment, it’s one of the worst user interfaces available. AutoCAD is NOT accessible to people who are color blind, have vision impairments or have trouble with depth perception.

On top of that, the draw commands in AutoCAD are so hard to learn that they can make a person take years to learn AutoCAD, in addition to any programming experience.

People who have experienced this are never going to use AutoCAD ever again.

However, the promise of all the 3D modeling, drafting, rendering, and other features on their new tablet PC, Surface Pro, are just too tempting. AutoCAD is pretty buggy, though, and has problems with everything except 3D modeling.

There are many free, open source tools available that do everything AutoCAD does. You can design and create 3D models in many software packages. You can use a variety of other CAD programs, like OpenSCAD, to design in 3D.

The selection of the best CAD software for you depends on what you want to do with AutoCAD, not just what version you have. And if you want to find software that is open source and free, most people recommend going straight to the source and installing the Linux operating system and a free, open source software package. That’s how I did it, and I’m a guy who still uses the desktop version of AutoCAD.

I recommend to you that you use the following two packages, and make sure you also install a free, open source graphics software package that you can use to work with AutoCAD’s drawings in 3D.

This report documents the safety and efficacy of intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) as a treatment modality for carcinoma of the anal canal. A prospective clinical trial was conducted at five North American institutions. The eligibility criteria for the trial included a minimum of 5 cm of macroscopically uninvolved anal canal and > or =2 cm of proximal perirectal fat, and acceptable bowel habit. Patients were treated with curative intent with a simultaneous integrated boost to a total dose of 45 Gy in 30 fractions. The clinical target volume (CTV) was defined as perirectal fat, external iliac lymphatics, presacral lymphatics, and the anal canal. Each patient was treated with IMRT to the CTV with the following objectives: (a) at least 95% of the CTV received 95% of the dose (CTV-95%) and (b) at least 90% of the volume received > or =90 Gy. Patients with positive margins were treated with additional therapy to the volume of tumor at the margin. The primary endpoint of the trial was local failure rate. Forty-three patients were included in the trial. The median follow-up was 28 months (range, 10-51 months). Forty-three patients had a maximum dose to CTV-95% of at least 90%, and 41 had a maximum dose to CTV-95% of at least 99%. No patient experienced grade 3 or higher acute gastrointestinal
