DialogResizer is a very simple utility. It is a very fast and flexible dialog resizer for windows. It has been written so that it does not need any database, only a memory to store a few variables. In addition, it automatically detects dialogs in the system, windows and the programs which provide them. Therefore, you don’t need to scan with it the hard disk to add new entry. It would be the most simple way to use it, you just need to choose the dialog which you want to resize and click “Resize!”

￭ Just right click on your dialog windows, long press the mouse button, shift-click on the desired titlebar or border and press the “DialogResizer” button in the right click menu. Within seconds you will see a resizing bar showing the “DialogResizer”-button. You can adjust its visual appearance by changing its colors, font and size.
￭ You can add as many dialogs as you want.
￭ All dialogs will be resized, if the dialog has a titlebar and border.
￭ The “DialogResizer” button will only work on dialog windows which can be resized. But it will do a better job with internal window windows than with application-specific dialogs.

How to use DialogResizer:
￭ You can download DialogResizer to your desktop. The tool is Open Source-licensed.
￭ Open the executable file by double-clicking on it and follow the instructions.
￭ If you want to save on disk you can click on the button-text “Download-to-Disk”.
￭ To avoid possible distractions and to keep DialogResizer running in the background you can turn the visibility of it in the background by pressing the button-text “Show-in-Taskbar”.

I heard from a Microsoft-internal developer that DialogResizer was actually created by one of the Microsoft Employee. And I also heard that Microsoft doesn’t like to know such kind of good software.
