Story

3. The game will open a new world and will be a drama about friendship and seeking.
As always, with this update, we have implemented adjustments to the gameplay in order to present a more fun experience.
The Elder Ring is the final level of a white-white pattern, so a new world has opened in the game.
A new world called the Lands Between has opened, and the story begins here.
We have set up the world so that you can take on the role of a mysterious character searching for the Elden Ring.
For the story, all the NPCs, including the black-blooded dragons, will follow the story.

What’s the meaning of this game?

Originally named in-game as a “basic” game, the game “Tarnished: Rise, Tarnished” is a sequel to the first edition “Elden Ring: Rise, Tarnished”, which was released as a free-to-play mobile game last year.

The game was released as a free-to-play game exclusively on Android devices in May, and a second edition (basic) was released later that year for iOS.

Last February, the game began its first North American launch on the Nintendo Switch as an English version of the game named as “Elden Ring: Rise, Tarnished”, in North America.

All in all, the “Elden Ring” series as a whole was renamed “Elden Ring: Rise, Tarnished”, releasing on Android in May and on iOS in November 2017.
