IATKOS V7 Mac OS X86 Leopard 10.5.7 For PC (Intel AMD SSE2, SSE3)

sse3 is an advanced instruction set that allows you to build parallel computing into your applications. if your cpu supports sse3 you should install iatkos v7 mac os x86 leopard 10.5.7 for pc (intel amd sse2, sse3). download intel gmax3100 kext file for iatkos 10.6 here:

in disk utility, click on your iatkos 10.5.6 install dvd and go to the utilities tab. click on “unmount the disk”. click on “reinstall mac os x”. allow the disk to install. once it is finished, click on the “restart” button at the top left. it will restart your computer. now it will ask for a default login password. enter it and restart your computer again. if you had the same issues as before, it will ask you to login to your iatkos installation. if it had installed successfully, you will be logged in automatically. if you didnt, click on “eject” at the bottom and eject the dvd. if you are using an intel processor then you will be able to boot mac os x, and then boot back into osx from the iatkos install disc (by holding down the d key during startup). if you are using an amd processor, you will be able to boot mac os x, but then upon reboot your computer will automatically boot into the iatkos install disc. you will then be greeted with the iatkos 10.6 boot menu. from there, you will be able to boot into osx.

if you are running os x 10.5.7 on an imac or macbook pro, please update to ios 4.3. iatkos v7 update the beta9 of the operating system now and will provide a precompiled version of the update that will be compatible with osx 10.7.

ok so this is just a quick update for those of you who are visiting, and i’ll be posting another update when i actually get it working.. i have made some incredible progress on my issue, and while it is still not quite working 100%, i’m fairly optimistic that i can get it up and running without resorting to bootcamp or using the windows cd

i just tried disabling the apic using the command: cp /etc/apci.present /etc/apci.present.disabled sudo nano /etc/apci.disabled and then using an ide to write over a few lines so that the apic would be unchecked and it would disable it.
i rebooted and was able to see a game or two without the pauses or artifacts. this is where i am now, but i would like to know if anyone has a different apic method. i have already disabled it using my little guide to fixing your sleep.
im having the same problems. its working fine at 60 hz, but when i go to start a game in fullscreen, i get a black screen with no artifacts or things like that. any suggestions? i even tried to delete both of the key kexts (intelgraphicsmedia-0.9.150.kext and appleps2controller-1.0.kext) and reloaded, but it didnt change anything. i’d still like to know if there are any way to fix this problem. ill try to figure it out myself eventually and post what i find out.
hgkyr, thanks for the info, i actually made a quick list of the best key kexts to get me going. i just need to know what to uninstall or what to add to the list. the biggest problem for me is that i havent used qe/ci in a long time so i dont know what is in it and what needs to be deleted.
the fact that ipc goes to step 3, which is what many other unmodified 10.5.7 installs do and receives a successful reboot to their graphics with no dsdt or dsdt aml file, is a good thing. i had no dsdt when i was successful and i had no dsdt for my 10.6 install. it is very obvious something is missing from a video standpoint. the problem is that i can sometimes see areas of the screen with no color but there is something there, just not the whole screen.
