Ip Lookup is an ultra-simplistic Windows application whose only goal is to automatically retrieve and display the internal and external IP addresses of your computer. It comprises a limited set of options that can be easily configured. Users do not need previous experience with networking utilities in order to work with this app.
Error-free setup and clear-cut GUI
Installing Ip Lookup is done quickly and effortlessly, since it does not contain any attention-demanding options. Once the setup is done, you can run the app to immediately retrieve the PC's local addresses. These are shown in the main frame.
View and copy the IP addresses
Although Ip Lookup does not integrate options for copying data to the Clipboard, exporting it to external files or printing it to inspect it closer, it is possible to make a text selection and copy it to the Clipboard using the global keyboard shortcut or by opening the right-click menu.
Ip Lookup can be asked to fetch the external IP address by checking an option. Data can be refreshed with the click of a button, so it is not necessary to restart the tool. The frame can be made to stay on top of other windows, while the program can be set to get the address list and check for updates at each startup. There are no other notable options available.
Evaluation and conclusion
As expected, the tool is undemanding when it comes to CPU and RAM, so it does not put a strain on computer performance. There were no kind of issues throughout our tests, since it did hang, crash or pop up error messages. Although it does not contain rich features, Ip Lookup quickly obtains the internal and external IP address of the computer, and can be easily handled.

Ip Lookup is a simple Windows utility program that retrieves your computer’s IP address (internal and external), or just the internal one.
Ip Lookup can be set to download the IP address from www.ip-adress.com and www.whatismyip.com. It may use other websites such as www.ipchicken.com if the IP address you wish to have retrieved is not available on other free sites. It does not integrate features like printing the IP address, copying it, or printing a history of your requests.
Ip Lookup is a good utility to keep track of the IP address of your computer in case it changes. It is not a tool to check online for the IP address, since it has no other purposes than what it is designed for.
Manual configuration is possible, but not mandatory. Before trying to set up the tool manually, one is advised to read the instructions available in the Help file.
Ip Lookup received an “excellent” rating due to its ease of use and a 5, based on a scale of 0 to 10.

The protein A and B fragments of cholera toxin were used to investigate the effects of the toxin on acinar cell function. The toxin inhibited agonist-evoked amylase release from dispersed acini. The inhibitory effect of the toxin was dose-dependent, was Ca2+-dependent and irreversible. Interestingly, the toxin did not affect the dose-response relationship between the concentration of either carbachol or cholecystokinin octapeptide and the release of amylase. The toxin, but not the protein A or B fragments, inhibited calcium-stimulated phosphatidylinositol turnover and phosphatidylinositol metabolism, but did not alter cyclic AMP accumulation. Lipid analysis of dispersed pancreatic acini after labeling with [3H]-arachidonic acid indicated that the proportions of arachidonoyl content in the sn-2 and sn-1 positions of the phosphatidylinositol fatty acid chains was decreased. These data suggest that the protein A and B fragments of cholera toxin have a non-specific effect on exocytosis
