IPD Personal with e-mail alert (IPD Personal v3.5.6) provides a real-time IP update service.
For a period of time, you receive a newsletter which contains the dynamic IP address of a service that your computer or your router is connected to.
This is particularly useful if you are connected to a public hotspot such as the wireless Internet at a hotel or airport.
You receive the news through your e-mail mailbox if you set your e-mail notification to E-Mail Alerts.
Using the IP change notification, you also receive a e-mail alert if your IP address has changed.
You have the option to choose from a list of e-mail addresses to which your new IP address will be delivered.
Alternatively, you can choose to receive your new IP address in your default mail program by setting the new IP address as the default mail address.
You can set an application to run every time your IP changes.

The latest release of IPD Personal includes several improvements and features. These include an update to the SSL encryption, help files, and a scheduled task to ensure your IP address doesn’t change. Once you’ve enabled the process, you’ll notice a “Congratulations” screen. This will be displayed whenever your IP address changes.
Using the newly updated SSL encryption, your Personal IP address will now stay hidden! This makes it impossible for websites to gather information about you. You can still access the contents of your web pages as usual, but your personal IP address will be hidden.
IPD Personal also includes an e-mail alert feature. This alerts you if your IP address changes. Furthermore, you can configure your alert e-mail to be sent to up to two e-mail addresses of your choice. The e-mail alert feature can also be used to keep you up to date on whether your Static IP address is released or not.
To make it easier to identify current IP addresses, we’ve changed the look of IPD Personal. It is now a bit more orange, and the words “NEW IP” and “IPD Personal” are now bolded.
