Database Backup in Jeti:
Jeti consists of a Database handler and the part which reads the database. It can backup the database using copy.jar from the jeti source directory and save it in a.sql file.

To install Jeti as an applet you can download the install.jar file and drop it into the plugins directory.

The backend.jar has to be signed with a CA cert in order to avoid the java security problem discussed on the next page.

Java security doesn’t allow a signed applet to connect to a not signed server. An applet will start and connect to the server, but will then fail in launching the website unless the server is also properly signed. To work around this we have to provide the admin with a server cert, but we still have to sign the applet. To do that the client has to be signed with the CA cert, which a not recommended option, but it might be what you have to do.
The solution is two-fold, you must sign the application for the client and the server.
