in terms of downloads, free users are required to wait before downloading a file and get a daily download traffic limit of 3 gb. while free users can share their files and folders, they dont get the ability to create direct download links. free users also cant download multiple files simultaneously, neither can they use download accelerators. finally, while free users dont get the ability to connect to their 4shared account via ftp or sftp, they can however mount their accounts using webdav.

Once you add files to your 4shared account, you can manage them in sub-folders. The best way to access them is via the online file manager known as Resource Busyness. Youll see a prompt requesting your password when you open the app and click on a file in your 4shared account. you can also access files offline by saving them to your cloud.
Although theres no limit to the number of files you can upload or download, your account can only sync 100 files at once. For example, if you have a 250 GB hard drive, that corresponds to 250 GB of storage space. While you can upload larger files, 4shared wont allow for them to be accessed from outside of 4shared. for instance, if you were to send a 250 GB file to a friend, he would have no option other than to download it.

If you want to store more than 1 TB, you need to upgrade to one of the paid plans. 4shared also gives you 250 GB of extra space and lets you upload files larger than 2 GB. for instance, you can upload a 100 GB video.
