Silex framework: how to access existing database through mysql module?

I’m working on my first project with PHP and Silex framework and I can’t figure out how to make my users have access to existing user’s data.
What I’ve done is I’ve integrated a Yii2 PHP Framework to my website and I’ve decided to replace Yii2 by Silex, so there is no Yii2 Mysql module.
So basically I’ve created a database user with no privileges and I’ve granted them on some fields (I don’t want them to have access to all of the table).

So now how can I access these tables from my controller?
