Inspired by the 2010 anime film “Casshern”, Kimi wa Meguru Hoshi no Koi/Half Past Fate is an entertaining, light-hearted, and engaging journey. Follow the story of Kei, a high school student who, after being rejected by his crush, has a dream of seeing her again. During the day, he can be seen trudging through a boring class, longing for that dream to come true. However, during the night, he becomes the unstoppable Casshern, merging with the universe to change the world in a dramatic final showdown.

This game is based on the 2010 anime movie titled “Casshern”. It was adapted into the anime film in Japan in 2010.

The game uses the anime-style art of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure in its pixelated form. One unique aspect of the game is that it combines the gameplay in 2D and the 3D at the same time. Half Past Fate is the visual novel game by Eric Palaszewski and published by Imagineering.

All of the major visual novels on Steam come with an English translation patch. This applies a large number of tweaks and changes to a handful of things in the game. For example, it adds a few words to the character dialogue, adds English names to a few items, makes the Japanese text readable on English PCs, and corrects a few typos.

The developer Eric Palaszewski does do some post-release support for visual novels on Steam. When a translator is found, the developer will release the official patch on Steam and offer support to that translator. They will then send the translation to the Steam community through Steam Workshop when an update is released.

This game is the first visual novel game created by Eric Palaszewski. He has worked with other games, but this is his first visual novel.

A heavy action RTS with sci-fi theme full of ships, weapons and 3D space.
Build ships, put on them whatever you want, add weapons, armor and modules. You’ll find that a Laser gun’s always better than a Sniper Rifle, even though they cost the same! Collect resources and build a base.

There are 2 types of units in the game. Ships are the units you start with. They can be regular ships, UFOs (space guns) or Command Stations.
Ships are like regular units and can be placed where ever in the game map. If an enemy ship is nearby, you can attack it and destroy it. Each unit has their individual stats, like range and firepower.
Command Stations are special buildings which you can spawn/construct to gain access to resources. Some have passive advantages to you, others give you temporary abilities like the Alchemy and Combat Weapons – which are time based and can be lost.
Everything in the game is physics based. Have a nuke in your hand? It will bounce like a ball. Just like a real gun! It’s fun to shoot people with your ship, but you’ll have to make sure you are aiming at them.
Note: This game is still in beta and will constantly get updated with new content. There will be more ships, weapons, buildings, missions and more.

All that I did play ofEXO ONE was enough to feel like it had massive potential, and unlike anything I’d played before. EXO ONE pushes the boundaries of the visualisation that a PlayStation game can deliver. It feels like a complete game, with a narrative, a soul and a world of its own to explore.EXO ONE is an amazing-looking game, but none of that matters if the gameplay doesn’t engage. Fortunately, it does.EXO ONE is not a platformer, but there are many characteristics of a platform game at play here. The PlayStation Dualshock 4 – always the innocent bystander in any console war – is at home here, and its buttons are useful in the right circumstances. The camera can be moved around the level as the player sees fit, and there’s also a radial menu where players can unlock extra special powers that help them navigate the environment and climb across walls.EXO ONE is a narrative-driven game: that also means that playing as a female vampire, Luxifer, is rather more fun than playing as a male vampire (I’ve given up trying to understand why I always play these games as the male character; I do realise that this sort of thing is often addressed in the marketing material but I’ve just never been able to figure it out).EXO ONE is a sequel, and a very good one at that.
