Pros: I don’t know how it happened, but this expansion makes Civ V enjoyable adds a lot of new features and complexity that Civ V was sorely missing. completely revises culture including drastically changed requirements for a culture victory (its no longer insultingly easy) and tweaked social policy trees. Diplomatic victory has also been changed drastically as well. Victory is no longer randomly determined by dopey AI controlled city states late in the game, instead you now must ally with city states in order to gain votes used in the world congress. product is a steam code. the ‘for mac’ has no bearing on what platform the DLC is for.

Cons: the Iron War DLC has far less content than the Peacekeeper part of it; the DLCs do not have any new units or technologies. If you liked the original game, you may like the Peacekeeper DLC, otherwise, you may be bored of the game after playing the Iron War DLC.

Pros: The DLCs for this game are short, so you can probably finish it in one go. If you’re interested in this game, the 1st & 2nd half of the Peacekeeper DLC are perfect to play. I like the fact that some of the expansion objectives are to promote certain history characters. So, it’s a bit like playing an official mod. The DLCs are released in two parts. The first part of the 2nd part is called \” Iron War \”, and the 3rd and 4th part is \” Peacekeeper \”. The Iron War DLC features new units, and the Peacekeeper DLC features new campaigns.

After receiving a lot of complaints when it was originally released that the new visual revamp for Viking Conquest had too many changes, they announced that they would give feedback to everyone after its release. When they did, they released a letter to the players explaining that while Viking Conquest looks like a different game, it can still be played using the original techniques and played like the original game. Changes to the graphics include a new menu background, new items, different enemy encounters and the second part of the campaign with twice the length of the original campaign. This was accompanied with a new ring music track and new sound effects to match the changes.
