Lets start with the first. Sure, I definitely considered making my own presets but, according to Audiohog.com, OhmForce and its maker arent even allowed to distribute or copy their own presets. Believe it or not, but even downloading and installing a plugin with your name, contact info, and slightly modified plugin settings and then distributing it is probably illegal in some jurisdictions.

So I had to, for the sake of my users, simply refrain from making any additional OhmBoyz Pro v2.0 presets. Thats sucks, but it can be worked around for sure. I guess these are 2 things that I can really and truly say will change with Ohmforce Ohmboyz Infinity 2.0. And thats for the best. We need Ohmboyz on the plugin scene. At leasts its an awesome name. Now, for the rest of the features we want to bring to V2, OhmBoyz Infinity will be a DAW friendly plugin. OhmBoyz Infinity will be able to open/export all imaginable file formats, and its library features will allow it to remember and prompt you what settings or presets you had on file. OhmBoyz Infinity will create its own presets and it will allow you to edit them as well. OhmBoyz Infinity will also have its own small preset library so, for instance, youll be able to check out V1 presets like great Tomsif. Ohmboyz Infinity will even have the ability to import own presets and edits that you created yourself. All of this will take place with a GUI. Its own GUI.

You can make whatever you want, for your own pleasure or to sell it later. I am sure you can easily imagine we want to be able to release free plugins as per usual. Ohmboyz aim is to provide the best high quality free VST, AAX and RTAS VST and AudioUnit plugins possible. Of course we also aim to provide high quality commercial plugins too. But we just dont want to make such another crappy product just like 99% of the other plugins that came out before Ohmboyz.
Just when you think Ohmboyz was becoming finalized, we start taking you up on the challenge to push the boundaries of what Ohmboyz could do! We also wanted the community to be able to create a host of effects that would be compatible, such as generating reverb, delay, chorus, etc for example, you can create your own reverb (with a plugin not another method of direct X or DirectSound). OhmBoyz is free after all, most who ites on sold plugins are either selling the plugins again for the same price as they where for, or they want to sell a development of them again!
You have a good idea? You got the talent? A better way to deliver your products to the world, including us, is to use the ohmboyz engine. Imagine, we will let you release your own music (even if you are a musician) to the entire planet without us taking a cent and doing it for you. Not one euro!
OhmBoyz software is released under the GPLv2 license. That means that the software is free to use, redistribute, and modify for any purpose provided that all code and other content is also made available under the same license. (In fact, the main reason behind writing software is to be able to share it with other people).
