Comparing Photoshop to Illustrator
A number of the tools found in Photoshop and Illustrator are remarkably similar to each other.
Here’s a quick summary of what Photoshop and Illustrator have in common:
They both contain the same core editing tools: Spot Healing Brush, Cloner, Toolbox, and Layers.
They both can edit color.
They both can create shapes, text, and graphics.

When you read “photo-editing in Photoshop,” most people are probably thinking of using the Layers feature. They also use the Spot Healing Brush to edit spots and heal edges. However, both applications have their own tools for their special functions.
Whereas Photoshop refers to a program as a “working environment,” Illustrator refers to a program as an “environment.” So, Illustrator is to Photoshop as an operating system is to a Windows, Mac OS, or Linux operating system.
Understanding the differences between Photoshop and Illustrator
The following list identifies some of the key differences between Photoshop and Illustrator:
Photoshop is a universal image-editing program, whereas Illustrator is an illustration application for creating images specifically for print. With Illustrator you can create both raster and vector images. Raster images are created as pixel-level images, whereas vector images are hand-drawn lines, shapes, and guides that you convert to pixels.
Photoshop is a purely raster-based program, whereas Illustrator can do both pixel-based and vector-based image editing.
Photoshop is for image manipulation (changing, fixing, and enhancing a single image), whereas Illustrator is for creating images.
Photoshop is more of a studio editor, whereas Illustrator is more of a fine-art and screen-printing image-editing tool.
Photoshop is more of a photo-editing and retouching program, whereas Illustrator is more of a designer and vector-based illustration program.
Photoshop and Illustrator are both great programs, but there are certain areas where one program excels over the other. Photoshop has more features for retouching an image and for creating or making basic edits.

1. Why Photoshop Elements?
Adobe’s most successful software is Photoshop which was first released in 1994. It dominated the industry for many years and was the first software designed and created for professional photographers.
It is the go-to piece of software for graphic designers and web designers and is also used for image editing by the average person. Almost everyone knows Photoshop to some degree, but Elements is a lot less well known and is aimed at the casual user.
It is aimed at individuals who want a single piece of software that can do everything they need, but who are not professional photographers.
An example of Elements’s distinctive user interface is the tabbed workspace. It can be found in both versions and works in an identical way. It allows you to work on files with different tools without switching tools. Adobe has automated this function to a large degree, making life a lot easier for most people.
If you’re looking for features, then Photoshop Elements is probably not for you. It’s a much simpler image editor. On the other hand, if you’re already familiar with Photoshop and want a lot more functionality, Photoshop Elements is the perfect place to start.

I have a repository with a Save function, and I want to know if it’s possible to perform an operation in the repository when there is an event triggered in the server (e.g. when a save button is pressed).
I’m only getting an error when I try to access the server when debugging.
