After reviewing its just-launched lineup, I’m optimistic that Adobe’s handling of the Cloud Pro Pack will improve. Providing a robust editing experience requires support outside of the desktop. I’m not talking about it over the network, but having third-party tools and cloud storage as robust resources. It takes a lot of engineering prowess to deliver those tools on a mobile platform, so I applaud Adobe for trying. I don’t think the months between the initial announcement and when it was available was a good look. And the price difference between the individual tools was a little too small to justify the monthly subscription, especially if the Adobe Creative Cloud monthly plan will remain the same (a $20 increase).
