The pack will include all new in-game events, full in-game engine and editor compatibility, new scenery, and new in-game scenarios.
Due to the nature of the scenarios included in this scenario pack, it may not be compatible with some of Train Simulator’s add-on tracks.
The scenarios in this pack have been designed to be simple to install and use, so there is no need to learn new systems or aspects of Train Simulator, no costly and time-consuming terrain modification, and it works without the need for special skills or experience. These scenarios can easily be set up in the no-time at all (e.g. in minutes) by any user on any operating system that has access to a copy of Train Simulator via Steam™, and can also be easily adjusted to work on Steam Workshop maps.
In-game career challenges are designed to be short and simple to set up but are also extremely realistic in terms of what train crews faced in real life, and their importance levels reflect the importance of those jobs in a real railroad crew’s daily routine.
This scenario pack can be easily expanded with more scenarios upon launch of the full Feather River Canyon route, or in the future, and is designed to be easily extendable so that players can enjoy new challenges as they are added.
The scenario pack follows a detailed procedurally generated map designed for a Steam Map modder to ensure level-of-detail and realism in terms of engine performance and running on time, as well as to ensure that “not-to-be-missed” geographical features of the landscape are included. As such, the map included in the scenario pack does not have “graphics objects” in the scenery that are similar to the Steam Map add-on terrain. All levels of detail and realistic features such as vegetation, rocks, tunnel features, and peaks etc., are included in the game engine, and are fully compatible with the Steam Map modder. All levels of detail are included in the scenario pack, including the new Forge GSX map, to ensure that the game engine is as close to a 1:1 scale of the Steam Map modder as possible.

In the story of this game, an old legend is about to be confirmed. That said, the legend is rooted in ancient times and doesn’t involve “ghosts” or “enemies” for that matter, but speaks of someone that, for decades, was the guardian of the hidden forces of good. But one day, the guardians disappeared… They were taken away in the middle of the night and no one has ever seen them since. This is where the story of the game begins.
Let’s begin our adventure at an orphanage where a newborn baby girl is left on the doorstep. This could be the beginning of our journey. Who is this little girl? Who are her parents? There is no possibility of knowing! What if I had never gotten this child? Who are these strange people who have opened their home to her? What if they won’t let us in? What would have happened to her if the people we met were not who they claimed to be?
Ariel’s return to her homeland has already begun… A homeland that is frozen in time, at the brink of a clash between good and evil. Abstract
Outbreaks of infectious disease are usually triggered by an unnatural atmospheric or
biological event that causes an otherwise benign pathogen to gain human
susceptibility. Epidemics usually end up in one or more of three ways – an
eventually self-limiting outbreak is terminated after a critical threshold of
infected individuals has been reached, a highly infectious virus variant evolves to
escape immunological control, or the initial outbreak strategy cannot be
sustained for the entire epidemic duration. In many cases public health
decisions decide which catastrophe scenario will be avoided, so it is necessary
to have a quantitative measure which allows risk assessment. We define an
epidemic risk to be the probability that a great enough outbreak will evolve
out of a mild, endemic infection. We model the risk using simple analytic
equations to allow rapid prediction of the probability of effective control in
the course of an epidemic.
