QuotePad is a tiny, accessible and efficient app that lets you quickly access text from any application and send it to its intended destination. You can use Ctrl+Shift+Q to send any selected text. The app lets you organize your notes, print them, mark a task as a reminder or set a sound as an alert. It keeps the data safe with a bit locker tool, allows you to export notes, add new ones, remove old ones and batch-rename them.
QuotePad Benefits:
For the same effort, QuotePad lets you quickly save up to one hundred and fifty notes in one subject. It’s easy to use, and doesn’t need the Internet to work. You can set notes as reminders, mark them as duplicates, remove duplicates, sort, filter, group them and add new notes. It’s much simpler to navigate than a web browser, and you can work even on complex documents with no trouble.
QuotePad Usage:
Just go to Start > All Programs > QB > qb.exe and your favourite text editor, then hit the shortcut you’ve created in the dialog’s bottom right corner.
Note: QuotePad works with Firefox and Google Chrome, and Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge when you open Google Chrome.

QuotePad is a handy little utility with the goal of sending selected text directly into a word processor such as Microsoft Word or LibreOffice Writer. It is useful for gathering your notes, research, and other text for writing articles. As a bonus, it is pretty easy to get to and use.
The first thing you want to do is download QuotePad. Once the download is complete, double-click on the QuotePad Install.exe file to begin installation of the program. Follow the on-screen instructions to finish the installation.
Once the software has been installed, you will want to create a new shortcut to start or run QuotePad by right-clicking on the desktop, and selecting New from the drop-down menu. Then, select Shortcut from the list, and enter the location where you want the shortcut to be saved. In our case, the name of the shortcut was simply “QuotePad,” and its path was to the program’s shortcut file. You can use the Browse button to change the location of the shortcut, or use the up and down arrow buttons to browse to a different location. Once you have entered the appropriate text, click on the OK button. If you want to customize the location further, you can open the Properties window for the shortcut. Click on the Location tab in the Properties window, and you can change the name and description of the shortcut.
Once you have created the shortcut, you can launch QuotePad by simply opening the shortcut. The shortcut will create a shortcut to the QuotePad program on the desktop. Simply double-click on the shortcut to launch the program.
