The application logs any activity detected by the application. The logs are stored in a summary view as a log file and a report. Statistics are retrieved from the log file and imported into a report. The application also provides a pager to notify the user of failed attempts to access the remote computer and a reminder that access is next.
System Requirements:
For the typical system, this application will run with minimal resources such as memory (default: 256K), with low-precision CPU timer (default: 16.8 milliseconds), PC-style controller, console of a UNIX system. No other special system requirements are recommended. The application will run with varying precision of system timer. Real-time monitoring may be required for specific use such as printing or media transferring. If your remote monitoring is sensitive to low-precision timer, look at the setting for the “Precision of system timer” box (default: 10-milliseconds).
