This was my first experience with
the glorious 2d point-n-click adventures,
and I can confirm that it was a
wonderful experience.
The designers have a total cult-following,
and rightfully so. Every of their
games is unique in design.
I have chosen a small list of
the best 2d adventures, but this
section is full of classics.
The Plot:
Two birds are in a tree, you reach for
a peanut, and one of the birds
gets hit and dies.
Heaven help you.
So you have to go into his
computer and find the guys who
are selling the birds for peanuts.
This kind of simple premise might
sound cliche, but it doesn’t feel it
in this game.
The graphics are clear, and the
art is very simple, but the story
is gripping and it never fails to
get you into this room.

simple as they get are perfect
for a game like this.
The music is beautiful, even
though it’s just 2 notes for every
scene, which is perfect.
The game has a very nice and
generic soundtrack, and it fits
the story perfectly.
The controls are simple, and the
game does not need a keyboard.
There are two mouse controls
and the game is paced in a way
that they can be used and do not
need to be used at the same time.
In every scene, you are free to
move, but the problem is that
all the action happens in the
back of the screen and that makes
it feel very claustrophobic.
You can of course, drag the
screen to see what’s happening
in a more intuitive way.
The game is in a semi-open world,
and you explore all the rooms
you encounter.
The game has many different
narratives for every play-through,
and this is one of the best aspects
of this
