If you have forgotten your password, then you will need to reset it. This will reset the routers admin password. This can be done by following these easy steps:

Open your web browser and type IP address of your Sagemcom router in the address bar.
You can find the IP address on the back of your router.
Now enter the default username and password of your router by accessing the admin panel. If you don’t have your username and password, you can try one of the default passwords for Sagemcom routers.
If the username and password does not work, then you will have to contact your Sagemcom tech support. The website is the best place to look up your Sagemcom username and password.

If your Sagemcom router is having any hardware problems, then you will want to contact Sagemcom Customer Support (this is the same as the website). They will probably send you a video to show you how to work the router.

If the video doesn’t work for you, then you can call Sagemcom for help. You can call Sagemcom at 1-801-994-0416. Keep in mind that there will be a charge for this service.

But what if you don’t have a cable line from the router to the device you want to hardwire? Well, Sagem 2804STC can be hardwired to the media centers (and yes, I’m ignoring the issue that your TV will not be able to adjust to the Dolby sound) If a cable can be run from the router to the device, the device will be more stable than if it were hardwired to a power outlet. So this is probably the way to go. On the other hand, if you are willing to have a hardwired but vulnerable area of your home or office (A wall outlet would suffice), a hardwired device would prevent wireless network issues like those that plagued my friends. This is the extra challenge, but in reality, you may not need it.

since the router shipped out of the factory in that condition, what would you suggest the best thing to do is? i have a 24 hour warranty. i do not know if the router should be returned to the place of purchase or is it ok to mail it back to sagem? also, could you tell me the best place to get help with setting this up? thanks so much!
hi! i’ve got a sagem fast 2800wg router and i’ve got some questions about the router. first of all, i’m getting issues with incoming packages, they come to my router and my internet stops working for about 5 seconds and then i get the error message: “lan access lost, check your internet connection”. i’ve tried resetting my router many times and it doesn’t work. would that mean that my router is dead? i can’t find any manual for the router, is there any? thanks!
i got the sagem fast fst 2804 router and it worked great for a couple weeks. it was working great but then today the connection would drop out every 30 seconds or so. i tried changing the port and it was still the same. i changed the password and it still did it. i finally took the battery out and put it back in and the wifi connection got much better. i am new to this router, does anyone have any idea what could be causing this problem?
hi, i bought the sagem fst 2800wg router about one month ago. it was bought here at amazon.com. i have used the router with no problems until today when the internet connection is dropping every 10 to 15 minutes. the router is with battery and it is hard to use without the battery. when i connect the router to the internet, it stays connected for a few minutes and then the router disconnects the internet connection for about 10 to 15 minutes. i checked the power of the router, the power is good, and the router is still connected to the internet. when the router is connected to the internet, the router shows the connection is good. what can i do to make the router works properly?
