The Final Chapter of the Saw films is Saw VI. The story follows Jill Tuck, police officer and mother, who comes home for lunch from the police department to find that her husband has been murdered. She travels to her home to investigate and finds a tape from an assailant that has five videos that are also attached. The videos are taken in the same day and tell a story where a person is being held and tortured by a group of men, the riddle is solved as the person is taken to be killed, saved at the last minute and finally killed at the end of the video. Meanwhile, Jill begins to see the killers of her husband and starts to unravel the mystery of where they are and what they want.

The plot of the film follows a group of psychologists that have used the Jigsaw group to try to stop it for the past few years. They succeeded in stopping Jigsaw, but the group reformulated into five new persons who are experts on their particular field. Jigsaw then makes this new group loose themselves in the woods, and their families have to work on puzzles in order to find them.

At the end of the film, it is revealed that Jigsaw is back, and is now in the jail. This is the same place that he has most often escaped from. Jigsaw once again takes the prisoners and forces them to take part in various Saw-themed experiences. After each torture, the prisoner is left to look for a trap door in a certain location. The prisoner will be struck by a barbell and be branded with a clue of the game.

The game ends when the prisoner finds the trap door, which leads to a room with Jigsaw and his accomplices. Jigsaw proclaims that he has finally found the people to blame for this horror, because they had forced him to take revenge on them.

However, they all then find out that the game was a hoax. Jigsaw has kidnapped his assistants and held them hostage. Jigsaw forces each of them to watch the same videos. In the video, Jill tucks her husband into bed. Once the player
