Transcend SSD Scope enables users to perform a number of diagnostic and maintenance tasks on Transcend SSD drives.
It features a flexible interface and a library of functions, that offer the user the means of managing and maintaining SSD drives of any brand and version.

This application is a software solution that enables users to perform a number of maintenance tasks on Transcend SSDs.

On June 15, 2010, it will be two years since I launched my blog. At the time, I decided to dedicate my website to SSD. I chose to do this, because I had a real passion for the subject. I wanted to share my knowledge about SSD with the community, help people to choose a good SSD, and raise the standard of SSD-related topics in the internet.
Therefore, after two years, it’s time to do a review of SSD. I’ve had many discussions and stayed up to date with the latest developments of SSD. Then, I have decided to do a comprehensive review of SSD.
It took me a lot of work to do this review of SSD. I spend months researching, testing, and analysing. Also, I tested hundreds of SSD. I used most of the expensive SSD-models and many of the affordable SSD-models. Then I spent several months sorting and arranging all the data.
In this review of SSD, I’ll list the good, the bad and the ugly, so you can read about the typical SSD. Then, I’ll conclude with my own opinion of SSD and give my recommendations. Hopefully, I could help you to decide which SSD-model is best for you.
I’ll start by writing about my definition of SSD. Then, I will go through the good, bad and the ugly. After that, I’ll conclude with my own opinion of SSD. Finally, I will give my recommendations based on my experience.
Finally, I’ll give you an Appendix (Endnote) with the major Sata and USB SSD-models that are widely sold.

What is SSD?
In the remainder of this blog, we will talk about SSD. There is much confusion about SSD and it’s still a very new subject.
To help you, I have a simple and straight definition of SSD.

3rd, remember: A Storage Drive (HDD) is a device that stores the information of a computer. The information is basically information in the form of 1 or 0.

SSD Scope is a multi-functional application for firmware developers, analysts, IT administrators, and more, aimed at facilitating the maintenance and performance monitoring of SSD drives.
For years, hard drives were the only type of non-volatile memory available, but thanks to the technological advancements of recent years, solid state drives have become an option to consider for a wide range of purposes, such as replacement of HDDs, and even in the case of just storage.
The software being developed for the purpose of aiding in the maintenance of solid state drives is being crafted with the feature in mind to offer a solution that will be both user friendly and informative.
The main features of SSD Scope can be divided into five categories: SSD Status, SSD Management, Data Erasing, Diagnostics, and SSD Data Recovery. Each of these categories have a number of tools that are associated with them and will be discussed further on.
One of the first things a user will be able to notice on boot-up is the brief SSD Scope information screen that will display a list of available SSD devices and their details.
This information can either be manually entered or automatically retrieved from the system’s BIOS/UEFI.
The SSD Status tab will show the status of the SSD being monitored, while the Data Erasing tab allows for the deletion of all data associated with the drive.
The Memory Diagnostics tab will allow for a quick scan of the SSD being monitored, with the first tab simply being a scan of the system’s memory while the second and third will be detailed scans that can be used to spot hardware issues and/or drive health state.
The last tab, SSD Data Recovery, allows for the recovery of old data from a drive.
As previously mentioned, the software is built around the use of a single interface with the user, while the number of functions that it contains is quite extensive and user friendly.
A user can perform frequent drive diagnostics or simply download the data for backup purposes, without having to leave the program.
SSD Scope Pricing and Availability:
The SSD Scope license key is currently available for free via the developer’s website, with the user being given 30 days access to the application.
This is done so that users are provided with ample time in order to test the software and its capabilities without being hampered by any limitations or restrictions.
At present, the software is for Windows only.
If Windows is not the operating system of choice however, the application can be installed on Linux or MacOS systems.
