In September, 2004 the StickMen were released in their first digital version, StickMen 1. This program was very popular, mostly due to its fun concept and the unique way the StickMen threw their weapons.

I’m Richard and I live in Germany. I have more than ten year experience in computer development. My first soft- and hard-disk commercial product was SLIPPAGE 3.0 (1995), and it was this product that later brought me into the field of custom software development. In mid ’95 I founded CTI SYSTEMS GmbH (now Nova Logic GmbH) and developed and marketed compact PC hardware like the Cooler Master VIAO, O2o Condenstaat and most important the VIAO Cool Off Switch which had amazing success. I realized that I was not only good at hardware design but also software development. My first self-written software was my first self-made screen saver: SLIPPAGE 4.0 in 1996. It had three dimensions and was therefore called STACKPAGE. I not only wanted to earn money but also learn new stuff. I developed an new program with ten original functions and thirty textures in 1999. My new software was called FLICKER 3.0, and it was the first to sport nifty effects like wallpaper cars, snowflakes and flying leaves. Heiko Obermaier of the Ninja Warrior demo team – with the help of the Moscow-based team of Dimitar Stoyanovski – helped me to get the program onto the internet in order to test it. With his help and as a result of his support we were able to re-launch the program with new features including picture flicker. This was the beginning of a long friendship. From 2002 to 2006 I wrote the screen saver SLEEPING BEAUTY.
