Jump Knight is the latest arcade entry from Ninja Tune’s ever-ever expanding franchise. This time you are given a nice selection of ninja-like abilities, including the ability to run through walls, and a bomb that will allow you to destroy heavily guarded buildings. So much like in real life, you’re provided with a arsenal of appropriately coloured weapons and a map of the town, littered with randomly located buildings, and guards patrolling the streets. Your job is to destroy the compounds by either blowing the doors or shooting through the windows, in an attempt to reduce the level of enemy Forces. If you make contact, you must back away as quickly as possible, to avoid being hit by enemy fire.
A couple of things about Jump Knight:
First, it’s Ninja Tune. They make lots of really bad games. I think they even make a Mario spin-off. I’m still waiting for Mushroom Clouds & Blooper Balls.
Second, The plot of Jump Knight is based off the Japanese media company and anime show, Dragon Quest. It loosely follows the plot of the original Dragon Quest, although the basis of that (I believe) is 1) change all the names and 2) mostly cover up the area of the world that the setting is based on.
Third, if you’re expecting an original story to rival Silent Hill 2, think again. Jump Knight is a very basic, very cliche, run around and blast stuff kind of game. It’s not a game you can get lost in, in a good way. It’s easy to tell exactly what’s going on, and it’s all very clear. You’ll notice that every time you encounter a new enemy, or try a new ability, the new effects on the battlefield will be pretty clear.
Fourth, as I said, there’s only one map, and there’s only one city. All other activities are done by spending the game’s currency, called Jump Coins. The only reason to do the other activities is to earn more Jump Coins. You can level up by completing objectives that are related to it, but all the achievements are available before you get access to the higher levels. And since there’s only one map, you should be able to figure out how to get to the higher levels much quicker than you would if there was more than one map.
And now some actual gameplay.
At the beginning of the game, you choose between the two main and the two optional characters. One is a ninja who
The fifth game in the Freedom Planet series is back with even more epic sci-fi gameplay and never-before-seen planet-scapes! Once more, the asteroid belt of this universe is a minefield of evil, so enjoy your journey through space for the hope of saving humanity. Control your vessel using the right analogue stick or keep it in orbit using the D-Pad. Take control of one of three distinct party members (each with their own special attacks) and explore new areas to find new, more powerful weapons and enemies to help in your quest. With three difficulty levels, three difficulty routes, and three modes for challenging, you can play your way to greatness!
– Be the Hero
Freedom Planet is, as far as I’m concerned, the best in the Freedom Planet series. Each previous title has gotten progressively better and been more interesting, and I look forward to seeing what they’ve all got in store for us this time.
– 4×4 Team, 6×6 Team, 1×2 Team or Free For All
4-person teams can play together, trading off who controls the ship when it comes to the directional pad. Choose to play as any of three 3-person party members, each with their own strengths, weaknesses and special attacks! These characters can switch out at any time, and their skills and weapons can be swapped as well! You can also play as a single lone soldier with no friends!
– 3 difficulty levels
The journey is a long and perilous one, so it should be a difficult one to get through. The game automatically adapts difficulty to the skill of the player.
– 3 difficulty routes
Expert, Pro, and Max difficulties provide three different gameplay styles.
– 3 game modes
One of three modes to choose from!
– Two Survival Modes
Creative Mode creates an endless landscape to explore.
Story Mode takes the game to the next level, with a story-driven gameplay experience.
– Combination Modes
Combinations of the modes above!
– Variety of Enemies
Varying types of enemies will challenge you with new strategies.
– Customizable Controls
Defeat obstacles by rotating your spaceship around the “U” line in the middle of the screen. Change your ship’s weapons and equipment to progress.
– Two Different Zones
Battle in the Horizon Zone or the Lunar Zone to increase your score!
– A Hero’s Journey
Detailed story-driven campaign mode, taking the player on an epic story through the six

: Chick Feres
From Carrie Ann Inaba’s performativeness, to your restaurant’s cramped bathrooms to the not-so-neat attire of the waitresses, it’s not easy being a Chick-fil-A employee.
Chick-fil-A is the largest chicken-sandwich franchise in the world, boasting more than 12,000 restaurants coast to coast. And from what I’ve heard from friends and from their advertisements, Chick-fil-A’s workers are just as fast and just as loyal as any other fast-food chain’s employees.
However, when I was in high school, the atmosphere at Chick-fil-A’s central California restaurant was a rather differrent experience. Because of their stated obedience to Jesus Christ, I was often treated as a second-class citizen, whenever I requested service, regardless of how well dressed I might be.
When I arrived at the restaurant around two in the morning, I was informed that the entire night crew and their supervisors were on break, and that I would have to make my way to the back of the restaurant to receive my treat-order.
With only a few pieces of garnishment — my driver’s license and credit card — I now had to navigate my way through the group of drunken college students to the back of the building. There, one unidentified woman informed me that I couldn’t get my order until my five close friends had all been served.
Shortly after ordering, I began to move toward the bathroom. My friend and I had earlier helped clean the restaurant of beer kegs, and were finally ready for the afternoon’s sleep. Since I was the only female, I was asked to clean the restroom with her. After inspecting the galley, I was searched and was allowed to enter.
The only seats in the restroom were the ones in the urinal and the toilet, and cleaning these areas would take hours. While sitting on a toilet situated in a filthy bathroom, I was at first peeved over the dirty conditions. However, as I was holding a bowl and trying to stretch the cup in which I was sitting on while positioning myself on the toilet, my gaze was immediately drawn to a seedy and yellowed magazine on the seat next to me.

Be Connect-X. Solve 50 mind-bending mathematical puzzles as you strive to connect all of the bubbles in the world’s most immersive and intuitive mathematical brainteaser. Inspired by the concept of connectedness, Connect-X is entirely focused on precise connections between simple whole numbers, and the best way to connect things with other things is usually to put them in the same place.
Most of the game is very easy and enjoyable. The math required to solve the puzzles becomes more and more difficult, and once you get to the later levels, it’s extremely difficult. There’s a good tutorial at the beginning that will take you through the basics, and a really great strategy guide that comes in handy if you don’t understand anything. The puzzles are basically just short logic problems, so if you don’t like math puzzles, you probably won’t like Connect-X.
The developer of the game is the same person that made “Mathematical Assassin”, an incredibly fun and challenging puzzle game. Connect-X doesn’t do anything that Mathematical Assassin didn’t do better, but the design and presentation is a lot easier to handle for casual players, and in most ways Connect-X is better.
Gameplay: 5
If you love puzzles, Connect-X is a very enjoyable game to play. If you’re just not interested in puzzles, you’ll probably like Connect-X just as much as you enjoy “Mathematical Assassin”. The game does take a little bit of getting used to, but the practice you will get from playing will be well worth it once you see how the puzzles are all designed.
Graphics: 4
The presentation of this game is very pretty and colorful. The puzzles are very well done, and if you’re good at math you’re likely to have a great time playing the game. This game is most definitely not for the casual puzzle gamer.
Sound: 4
There are no sound effects whatsoever, which may be off putting for some players. There’s no music, so there’s no background noise that you could use to help you solve the puzzles. There’s some ambient soundtrack noise that is a little annoying at first, but you’ll quickly get used to it.
Story: 5
The game designer has obviously spent a lot of time on the puzzles in Connect-X, and they are quite challenging even at the relatively easy levels. The story of the game is set in two different dimensions, one of which is connected to the other.
