Recently, I found a small game that had an unusual premise for an open world game: a city is split into four islands, which can be purchased independently. When the players purchase the islands, they are pulled into different storylines and compete for superiority in a game using the language of cheetah.
And that is the game that I’m building. 😀
In my ten years of game design, I’ve never built a game like this. It’s challenging in many ways, but I’m already having a great time with it. So I figured I’d share.
So, what have you played? Maybe you’ve been designing games for a decade and you’ve built hundreds of games, but I was recently determined to design a unique premise. Or maybe you’ve got an insanely original idea in your head and you’re gonna build it. 😀

In Cuties Dungeon, players assume the role of the young apprentice of Ristorante Lupo, a famed restaurant in the heart of Italy. The apprenticed will spend his time crafting dishes, managing the kitchen, and taking care of the rest of the staff. But the holidays mean that the Ristorante Lupo will be way more than just the usual restaurant, it will be an experience, where there’s a bit of everything in the game to keep players on their toes.
Also included in the base game are two themed Chapters.
Chapter 1: The Christmas Orgy
The game takes place on Christmas Eve, December 24th, and the players’ task is to keep the restaurant clean and to prepare and serve the Christmas Dinner to the guests. The guests are a little bit reluctant to stay, but their requests are not unusual. The players are also accompanied by the Lupo’s Pasta Chef, who will add unique recipes to the game.
Chapter 2: The Black Mass
The second chapter is based on St. Nicholas Day, December 6th. Because the Black Mass is a Catholic holiday, the restaurants near the cathedral become very busy during this time and they present outrageous requests, which require improvisation, quick thinking, and flexibility of the players.
The second chapter is where the players face the most difficult challenges. This is the time where they need to get away from the busy restaurant and go on a quest to get the Cuties, girls who are being held captive in the church. With the help of the Cuties, the players will be able to restore the abandoned cathedral.
The Christmas Orgy and Black Mass chapters will be available in a separate DLC coming later.
About Muscape Studios:
Muscape Studios is a game studio based in Greece. They had their very first release this year, launching a sequel to an old GameBoy (yes, really old). It was called the New Quest and the sequel is simply called New Quest 2.
They have also created a free sequel to a commercial game called Monster Invader. The sequel is called Monster Invader 2.
They’ve even expanded their little studio, adding a third game to the pile, and that’s the puzzle game called Space Trader. It has two add-on’s (Spaceship Rescue and Space Trader: Secret Mission), which expand the gameplay and unlock new episodes and extra missions.

Blood Memery is a very different game that survives on good word of mouth.
This is the Secret Santa Promotion for Westport Twickerfest 2013. Each registered participant may nominate a player of his choosing for a custom rubber stamp. It can be commemorative for a favorite game, display a number that the member signs, or be in reference to a long time themed event like the mystery. Whatever, you must touch the stamp to your forehead for each game played. The person wearing the stamp, can then keep the stamp, or bequeath it to the next person. The chosen player will be documented playing till the end of February. Each of the players must write their names on a post card and send to the contest coordinator in a post labeled: Mystery 553. You do not have to be present for this – you may do this after the competition. The winner will be announced at Westport Twickerfest 2013!

Blood Memery is not that different from a game developed around one particular player. By the end of the season, if there is a season, that player becomes “precious” to the group of friends. Each year at Westport Twickerfest, it is important to think about the values of “blood” and “memery” as a larger family gathering. When players and spectators are saying “Thank-You” to those who have provided service that year as members, buying food, making ice, setting up tables and playing twirly, to replace declined cards and distributing cards out to the market, to not mention just being there and participating – these are the real value to the larger social unit. As I saw in some settings like regedit, some patch like: VALV-5.KV.exe, VALV-5.KV.EXE… is broken and can’t run. So we need to cracked into clean mode and installed the game.
Download game and setup directly from the official site (Don’t try to crack/patch them), Install the Valzar (50,000 – 100,000 coins), and have fun!
