Chandra goes through several checks in marriages. She is taught to be happy and comfortable with her husband and to be a good wife. Nandini and Malini start to suffer from pregnancy pains as their first child is about to be born. They are given an option of performing the abortion or have the child but have to suffer punishment. Nandini and Malini decide to have the baby. They spend time together discussing their roles as a couple.

Nandini recounts that when she was a child, her father brought her home one day and left for the office. He then told her to go to the next house and bring her mother. Nandini did so as she was taught to do. Nandini then went to the next house and was shocked to find that her friend’s mother and father had both committed suicide, so she was also asked to go and bring their dead bodies. She did so although she had to bring back the stench and get urine and feces on her. When Nandini told this story to her father, he told her to tell her mother only that she had brought a dead body of a close friend and did not mention the dead bodies of the people in the deceased household. He told her that he had arranged for her to stay with a family. As she began to pursue her acting career, her friends were all in leading roles in movies, and no one knew that she was actually a girl who lives in a different place. One day, Nandini gets a call from a friend indicating some one named Krishna had been singing a song about her. She is shocked to find herself being known as Krishna as well. It is then that she decides to go back to where she belongs and live her life as the “real” Krishna. She is admitted as a student in the same college as Krishna. Despite being aware that Krishna is a famous actor, Nandini gets confused a lot as Krishna is very helpful, while she is also confused about whether she is Krishna’s wife or not.
