i have installed the swissphone pager software twice on the same pager. once on pager cradle, and once on the pager itself. i have unplugged my pager and uninstalled the software from the pager. i downloaded and installed the software but the software still considers being there, so i rebooted the pager and still getting the error. i don’t know if i’m doing something wrong or if this is a swissphone software issue. could someone please help me.

according to the client feedback, i must say this pager has been a godsend for me. in france, unfortunately, there is no cellular network coverage in my home town and the cell phone networks were running out of time. because of this i used to be always out and about. i have been able to read my messages and have them replayed to me. i did not have my cell phone anymore. i was getting a new cell phone, but i ended up leasing the swissphone, because the monthly price was lower.
i’m a long time swissphone customer and i am pleasantly surprised with the new version of psw 729. as an example, i had a question concerning the ip address information for outgoing calls. the newer version of psw 729 has a menu function for that. i have not been able to find this prior to the newer version. the new version also has an option for making outgoing calls to other countries. the older version only had the option to call other countries in europe. i found this out by taking the pager out of the cradle. the pager was in the cradle when i purchased it and my calls were limited to the european countries in the original version of psw 729.
psw is not only the symbol of a modern pager and the first dect 6.0 pager in the market. it is also the unique logo for swissphone. the digit shape and the arrow symbol are simple and timeless – like swiss telephone.
new pager, not a problem. i suggest you ship the pager to swissphone for the update. swissphone pagers are bullet proof. they have a new software update, i believe it is the “psw 729” or “psw x29” for the i9000, you can call the 800 number and they will help you with the update and how to activate the software. ask the price of the update.
