I am not sure if this is a UK only train, but if anyone here has any interest in rail transportation, then I would like to share my progress on my train project, that is starting up once again. This is my second attempt at this project, after close to 2 years of work was put into it, and a lot of my spare time was stolen by my joining a recovery addiction (I had gotten into three to four weeks deep on a mix of weed, alcohol and coke, and I was not doing anything productive).
So I am almost back on track – please dont shoot the messenger – for my time away from my train I got really in touch with the design process for the train in my head and there is a lot of info coming back into my head about the design of this train. What can I say, it is my fascination with trains, and I will do anything and go anywhere to learn more about them, whether it be real life prototypes, PDF’s, pictures, schematics, or just my imagination.
This year, I have a bit of a different train, I am not going to say much about it, I have spent more than I should have on development work, and am still going ahead despite having to reduce the date it is due to go into production by a few months. This is because I have made up my mind about the design of my engine, and I think I have a better idea than last year. Also I realize that through testing the prototype will fail, and this part is unavoidable. But now, with the years of experience of running with the group at trainzmodo, I have a very good feel for the prototype, and I think I know what components are going to fail, and which ones will go right, and so on. There is still a way to go, but I think I am on the right path, and I wont be throwing things away when I realize that I can build a much better prototype now. What I do have planned is the all new diesel passenger locomotive that was a favourite of mine since I first saw the (Australian) Railviewer or Rail Historians program back in the mid 1990’s.

HackingBall3D is a 3D puzzle game that puts you in the shoes of a mysterious hacker who just defused a nuclear bomb by hacking the control unit. Your task is to collect all the data possible provided in the game and to deactivate the timer. However, in order to solve 3D puzzles, you need to use your mind and find a way to interact with the bomb’s surroundings. Each level is traversed for a time, which at the end of the level is subtracted from the amount of collected data. After it reaches zero, the bomb explodes.
The levels are different and contain numerous devices that will require a precise interaction with them. Your main weapon – ball – is the unique means of solving 3D puzzles. Move it left and right and look at the objects around you. Move it up and down and also turn it around itself. Interact with everything precisely and quickly. Make use of data collected through hacking and put it in the right place to solve the puzzles. You also have to think quickly and observe the situation to find the right way to interact with the environment to succeed in each 3D puzzle.
