Sarina Bowen writes NA romance novels and I have to say I think shes really, really good at it. Its not just her writing, its the subject matter. Bowen captures the feeling of the teen years without embarrassing herself or offending people with scenes of sex or too much romance. And she reminds me that relationship is more than a sexual one. Im not so sure I see everything well on the coming of age and NA books where that isnt stressed at all. In general, boys seem completely clueless and emotionally stunted in NA novels. When they do address the issue of love, it seems like theyre studying in calculus class.

But I really enjoyed this installment. What is so fun about Sarina Bowen books is that even though theyre very different, theyre also all about some form of the same thing. Rikker is not just accepting of Graham, but he has no problem with him. He gets to have a lot of fun hanging out with Graham, who lives in a big city but he makes time for him. They think each others thoughts, they get to have fun together, and they both get more secure with themselves.

The plot was filled with so much mystery and suspense, I was unable to put the book down. Sarina Bowen has created some of the most unique and interesting characters I have ever read about. You find yourself along for the ride and unable to put it down.
I enjoyed reading the book and how it was written. There was a lot of action and it wasn’t overly cheesy. Sarina Bowen has created some incredible, sexy characters that have my attention. I will be following this author.
