Set on a mysterious island of the Somnium Shore, Ethan needs your help to explore, search for clues and fight against enemies to make sure he never wakes up again. Help Ethan to escape his past and learn how to cope with his feelings of loss. Be prepared to find some more surprises in this unique experience with lots of secrets to uncover.
I bought it because it looked good and it really doesn’t look bad at all, and the graphics are indeed quite nice. But it’s in Early Access, so there are no guarantees that it will ever make it. The story and aspects I haven’t played yet.

The game is just coming out, so they haven’t had enough time to make their tagline “Run away from your past and become a hero.” yet.
Losing sleep is a feature of the game, because they believe you lose up to 50% of your life while asleep. So the title and tagline makes sense.

The game is a survival horror with you as the player.
I was worried about the combat mechanics and health system because, after all, I get to choose when I die. The combat mechanic seems very interesting, as does the ability to eat to restore health.
You don’t lose all your health when you pass out but there is a chance to die if you do not wake up. The best part is that you don’t lose all your progress.
Also, you get to make choices on what you would like to do on the island. There are many puzzles and what not to solve and the game has a lot of end-game content.

The difficulty with winning elections on third-party tickets can be a nasty and cramped experience, but it can also be immensely satisfying if you are successful. After the Coalition suffered a blowout defeat at the polls, and after the Greens were reduced in numbers, some commentators pronounced it a changing of the guard. The ALP would then assume the role of the third-party in federal politics and the ALP prime minister’s role as the Green movement’s leader in other parts of the world.
But Rudd’s leadership is not so much a change in Australian political power structure as the restoration of it. According to the Economist, the ALP is now just three votes shy of its highest point at the 2008 elections.
Rudd was adamant, at the time, that he was still the right person for the job. “I will be giving it everything I’ve got,” he declared, “if people will give me the chance.” And so far the polls – mid-way through his term in office – are back with him. He won most of the special votes that Labor won in 2008 but he finished just a few points behind the Liberal candidate, who was running as an independent at the time.
Is it extreme optimism to imagine that Rudd can recoup even half of this, to bring Labor back with nothing more than a wave of the magic word, but with a more compliant parliamentary party at his back? But that is the sort of nation we live in now. And the mood is changing fast.
